Terms of Service

UIU Helper is a student-built web application that provides academic tools for United International University students, including calendar summaries, faculty information, CGPA and fee estimators, cover page generation, routine planning, and eLMS participant email workflows.

UIU Helper is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by United International University.

• You must use UIU Helper only with accounts, credentials, and data that you are authorized to access.
• You are responsible for keeping your eLMS, Gmail, and device access secure.
• Admin areas are restricted to authorized UIU Helper maintainers.

You agree not to use UIU Helper to:

• Violate any law, university rule, or third-party policy.
• Access, copy, export, or send data that you are not authorized to use.
• Harass, spam, mislead, or send irrelevant messages to students, faculty, or other recipients.
• Attempt to bypass app security, rate limits, authentication, or third-party service restrictions.
• Use participant emails for advertising, resale, data brokerage, or non-academic mass messaging.

• The eLMS tools use your own eLMS access to fetch courses and course participants from Moodle.
• You may use participant emails only for relevant academic communication connected to the course.
• You are responsible for reviewing recipients, subject, body, and CC or BCC settings before opening a draft or sending through Gmail.
• BCC is recommended unless classmates intentionally need to see one another's email addresses.

Gmail connection is optional. If you connect Gmail, UIU Helper uses Google OAuth only to send the email that you compose, preview, and confirm.

• You authorize UIU Helper to send the confirmed message through your Gmail account.
• You remain responsible for the content, recipients, and timing of any message sent from your Gmail account.
• You may disconnect Gmail in UIU Helper or revoke access from your Google Account permissions.

UIU Helper depends on third-party or public data sources such as Moodle/eLMS, UCAM-related pages, university calendars, and Google APIs. These sources can be unavailable, delayed, incomplete, or changed without notice.

CGPA, tuition fee, routine, calendar, faculty, and cover page tools are provided for convenience only. Always verify important academic, financial, exam, class, or administrative information with official UIU sources.

UIU Helper and its original code, design, text, and interface are owned by their respective maintainers unless otherwise stated. UIU, eLMS, Gmail, Google, and other names or marks belong to their respective owners.

UIU Helper is provided as a free student tool. We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time, including for maintenance, abuse prevention, third-party service changes, or security reasons.

UIU Helper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UIU Helper and its maintainers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses related to use of the app, third-party services, academic decisions, sent emails, data errors, or service interruptions.

We may update these terms when the app changes. Continued use of UIU Helper after changes means you accept the updated terms.
